Current Professor and Former CIE Resident Blake Dubinski’s Company Earns Spot in Inc.com Top 5,000 Businesses
OXFORD, Miss. – Current adjunct professor in management in the Ole Miss Business School and former entrepreneur in resident for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Blake Dubinski was recently recognized by Inc.com in their list of the top 5,000 fastest growing companies in America, with his company GenTeal coming in at No. 1,417, and tops in the state of Mississippi.
“We are proud to be recognized as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S., as well as the fastest growing company in Mississippi,” said Dubinski. “Rapid growth presents some very unique challenges, so this recognition is a testament to all of the hard work each of our team members have contributed over the last few years.”
A premium men’s clothing retailer, GenTeal was co-founded by Dubinski in 2016 and holds their corporate office in Oxford, Miss. They are now located in nearly 200 stores across 22 states in the US, including local retailers Landry’s in Oxford, Miss., Kinkade’s in Ridgeland, Miss., and Oxbeau in Memphis, Tenn.
“We feel very fortunate to work with some of the best specialty retailers in the country,” said Dubinski. “We are very lucky to have created special relationships with each of them.”
Companies in the Inc.com 5,000 are ranked by revenue growth between the years 2018 and 2021 for their 2022 list. In order to qualify, companies must have been founded and have generated revenue by March 31, 2018, and be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies.
