The Southern Entrepreneurship Research Consortium will host the 2026 Entrepreneurship Research Incubator at the University of Mississippi. This developmental research incubator facilitates connections among entrepreneurship scholars to promote and enhance entrepreneurship research productivity and foster collaboration among colleagues throughout the South. Past incubators have produced research projects that resulted in publications in the leading entrepreneurship journals and grants funded by agencies such as the National Science Foundation.

The 2026 conference will feature sessions with Lou Marino (Kennesaw State Univ.), Jon Carr (NC State), Clay Dibrell (Ole Miss), Erik Monsen (University of Vermont), Theresa Welbourne (University of Alabama), and Eric Liguori (Florida State Univ.). The conference will also include a research design sprint, research incubation sessions, and opportunities to learn about innovative research methodologies and research contexts.
