UM Tech Summit Hits Campus August 30

The University of Mississippi will host the UM Tech Summit on August 30th at the Inn at Ole Miss.

Leaders from government, business, and higher education converge at the Summit to discuss trends in technology and to stimulate discussions about technology-related needs in industry and education. The event is set to begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. The schedule includes several roundtable and panel discussions on featured topics like economic innovation, homeland protection, and expanding technology access in rural communities.

Guests and speakers for the event include Senator Roger Wicker (MS); Mayo Flynt, President of AT&T Mississippi; Hu Meena, President, and CEO of CSpire; and Ryan Harkins, Director of State Affairs and Public Policy for Microsoft, as well as a host of others.
